And these draw us closer to God as we plead to Him, and ask Him for strength, help and guidance. In times as this how very important it is, that we learn the meaning of prayer, faith, and trust in God. Something we all want for our life is always found in the Bible; God’s Holy Word. The Bible helps our faith. Here are some benefits and the importance of daily Bible reading. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) The Christians feed upon, and lives by the Word of God. (Matthew 4:4) His Word is a heavenly light. (Psalm 119:105) It is powerful to resist evil. (Hebrews 4:12) His Word is the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:17) In the wilderness when Jesus was tempted by satan. It was the sword of the Spirit Jesus used to get rid of him. Over and over again Jesus said ”It is Written”…It is Written”….”It is Written” (Matthew 4:4,7,10) May the Lord help us to know this Book the Bible so as to overcome the snares of the devil.We should use it when we are overwhelmed with sorrow, fear and worry. Use it when in doubt and when unbelief comes upon us. Use it in time of temptation to conquer and overcome sin and the world. Not easy but remember ”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13 Every promise in the Bible has power. Every command has wisdom. Every warning has very deep meaning. We can’t have victory without prayer so we must ask. ”Ask, and it shall be given you”.. Jesus said (Matthew 7:7-8) So you ask Jesus Today He will hear you. We must pray and pray without ceasing. May God help me to read His words, believe His words and live out His words daily in my life so others will see Jesus living in me. With all the promises He made and fulfilled in my life I cannot do anything else but Trust Him and basked in His Love and Blessings that He bestowed upon me.
