No matter what we are going through, we should remember that God our father is in control. Remember we are not fighting against flesh and blood, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12.  Satan’s goal is to destroy God’s children, thus we are in a spiritual warfare. God has a plan for us, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.
